The Partnership
The partnership is built through the cooperation of three state-funded higher education institutions based in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, and one private company based in Malta.
National Sports Academy
"Vassil Levski"
Sofia, Bulgaria
The National Sports Aca-demy „Vassil Levski“ (NSA) is a state-funded higher education institution founded in 1942. Today, study programmes are offered at all qualification degrees. Additionally, the university offers continuous post-graduate qualifications. NSA’s campus consists of study buildings and numerous outdoor and indoor facilities. The Academy develops extensive international and scientific activity through international events, trainings, contests and cooperation agreements for student and staff exchange with many universities abroad.
National University of Physical Education and Sport
Bucharest, Romania
The National University of Physical Education and Sport (UNEFS) was founded in 1923 – it is one of the oldest public institutions in Europe. UNEFS’s research projects, educational programs at all three qualification degrees and cross-border academic links place the university at a high position as regards the quality standards of education at European and world levels. Among the University’s priorities is to give consideration to reorganization by adopting a cycle-based system, encouraging student and teacher mobility and partnering with students in order to make decisions.
Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Nis
Nis, Serbia
The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (FSFV) is part of the state-funded University of Nis, founded in 1965. The FSFV was established in 1971 and today offers its students study programmes at all qualification degrees. In order to fulfill its mission to advance the theory and practice in the application of physical activities by means of perspective, attractive and contemporary methotologies, the Faculty continuously collaborates with universities and faculties worldwide, adoping a community development approach, including through mobility activities.

AcrossLimits is a multicultural and multilingual dynamic company established in 2001. The company works in the fields of EU projects, consultancy services and trainings. Its expertise is in eLearning, eHealth, eGovernment, entrepreneurship and web development. The work of AcrossLimits, whose employees come from several countries, involves collaborations with governments, businesses, NGOs and academia in Europe and beyond. Apart from its central office in Malta, the organization has representative offices across Europe, implementing joint projects with other companies and institutions.
